Praise

"I will Bless The Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth". Psalm 34:1.

We are well on our way through another year and we can pause to thank our heavenly Father for his loving kindness and tender mercy to us and praise him for all his benefits in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

In Psalm 103 David wrote, "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits". It is good to stir up our minds by way of remembering so that we can look back on the kindness of The Lord to us over the past, for it may sweeten even the dark and difficult days of our earthly experience.

God's creation is called upon to praise him, "Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and everything that moveth therein," Ps.69:34, and those who love him are exhorted to bless him.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." Ephesians 1:3,4.
